Had a great visit! What a good deal for residents. Lovely view of the lake and even of the volcano from our balcony. The room was spacious enough for our daughter’s crib and had a nice shower. The restaurant is quite good and has a high chair. They have kids swings down by the sandy area, too. The road to the lodge is not good and there are no signs for the lodge along the way, but trust google maps and you’ll make it!

Beautiful lodge with amazing staff. The rooms are big, great views and has mosquito nets. The lodge has a private beach with a small dock where you can jump to lake Kivu. Food at the restaurant is not too expensive and fresh.

This lodge is on the shore of Lake Kivu in the midst of lush trees and offers stunning view of the lake. The architecture, mainly wood and stones and thebroomes are draped in a beautiful red and purple. The chef has great treats on the menu including local dishes. There’s a lot one can do in the area including bird watching.
